VISVESVARAYA TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY (VTU) recruitment notification, Belgaum invites applications for the posts of Professor, Associate professor, Assistant professor in the prescribed format from the eligible Indian citizens in the Department of Post Graduate Studies located at Bangalore, Gulbarga and Mysore. The eligible Indian Nationals / Origins who are residing abroad may also apply.

Vacancy details:

Bangalore - 6 posts (1 Professor, 2 Associate Professors, 3 Assistant Professors.)

Gulbarga - 4 posts (1 Professor, 1 Associate Professor, 2 Assistant Professors.)

Mysore - 4 posts (1 Professor, 1 Associate Professor, 2 Assistant Professors.)

Age limit:

Between 18 - 35 years of age. Age relaxation is applicable as follows. 38 years for OBC and 40 years for SC/ST.

Qualification:

Assistant Professor:

Should have a degree in B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech. in relevant subject with first class or equivalent qualification either in B.E./B.Tech. or M.E./M.Tech.

Associate Professor:

Should have a degree in B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech. in relevant subject with first class along with 5 years of experience in teaching industry of which at least 2 years shall be post Ph.d.

Professor:

Should have a degree in B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech. in relevant subject with first class along with 10 years of experience in teaching industry of which at least 5 years shall be at the level of Associate Professor.

Pay scale:

Assistant Professor: Rs.15600 - 39100 + GP Rs.6000

Associate Professor: Rs.37400 - 67000 + GP Rs.9000

Professor: Rs.37400 - 67000 + GP Rs.10000
